I found it dirty and alot of Broken things.
While I agree with this I felt for the price it was worth it. $10 pp and it kept my DS busy for nearly 2 hours. Its not as big as I expected but whatever DS is 2.
Atlantis Marine World is over 20 PP!!! and really its probably about 2-3 hours of fun.
So for the price I thought LICM ws worth it.
Another great place was Animal Petting Zoo in Manorville. If your kids like animals I thought it was great. I think it was $13 pp and then extra for feed. DS loved it though, there was goats, pigs, horses, a camel, llamas, a pecock etc. DS LOVES animals so it was right up his alley!

It is like 5 mins from me but I haven't taken DD#2 yet (she is 9.5 months) honestly at that age really not much for them - although there is a tot spot for under 4 but there is only a small area for crawlers/cruisers. I did start taking DD#1 once she could walk. There is much more to do the older they get but DD liked it at a year. She did get knocked around a bit by the older kids in the tot spot. Under 1 they are free.
There is a music room that is fun, a bubble area, and some mirrors other than that probably not much for kids 9 months.

Re: Long Island Children's Museum
We took DS when he was 18 months- I thought it was cute. We will probably go back the next time we visit LI. Also, the aquarium in Riverhead is awesome for toddlers!!

Re: Long Island Children's Museum
I like the children's museum better than the aquarium. I thought the aquarium is so overpriced.
