Long Island Furniture Stores
Can someone fill me in on the really large furniture stores in Nassau? I'm just back to LI after 10 years in Massachusetts, so I'm clueless. I'm hoping to go somewhere that is halfway between Ikea and Ethan Allen for cost. Right now I'm looking for a media cabinet and storage bench, but I also just want to get a clue for other needs!

Raymour & Flanigan is a big one as well as Macy's (ot on 110). Bassett is nice as well. People rave about Bob's, but I have never been there. There is also Peter Andrews, it's smaller but has more unique items.

Just take a trip down Rt. 110 and there's furniture store after furniture store after furniture store on both sides of the road. It's a great way to see a lot of different things without having to drive all over the place.
