Long island Jewish medical center
The one off of Lakeville road in Nhp.
Anyone have any experience there? My practice just switched from south Nassau to there.
Any thoughts/feedback in welcome

i delivered there in may 2011 and liked the staff a lot. that was before they opened the new hospital. i have visited many people there (i lived down the block and watched them build it) and it is GORGEOUS like a hotel. if the care is as good as it was before and the rooms are now gorgeous and comfy, i dont see how you an go wrong. good luck!

The Drs I go to deliver there and say its like a 4 seasons hotel.
Every woman gets a private room, private bathroom and pull out couch for hubby.
in addition, they have an excellent NICU that I would drive miles to go to just in case something went wrong.
Its an excellent hospital, now upgraded since they built a new women's hospital.

i work there and my friend just had a baby there. The rooms are gorgeous and I think cause the building is new everyone is so nice and friendly. You could have a party in the L&D room its so big,

I had DS there in October 2010 before the new hospital. DS was 7 weeks early and the NICU was amazing. Everyone was so nice and understanding while I was still there. I can't wait to have this little one in January to see what the new hospital is like. But hearing from a few friends of mine, it is amazing!!
