Long shot but does anyone have an extra code for the older version of Microsoft office?
The new version came on our computer and I HATE it. We have the CD for the older Microsoft office but we used the code the max. amount of times. I can't buy the older version either, they dont sell it in stores anymore. If anyone has a code and is willing to share it with me, I would really appreciate it!!!!

You can call Microsoft - tell them you bought the new version but want to install the old version. They will usually let you 'downgrade' the product to an older license.

Have you looked at http://www.openoffice.org/ ? It's a totally free Office suite. It's not Micro$oft's product, but I think it works just as well, if not better. I use this at home.

You can call Microsoft and ask them to remove the block on your existing key.
If you are installing the software on the same PC and aren't installing multiple copies on multiple PCs, they should be able to fix this for you.
