Look at what we found yesterday
I swear, I don't know how these things got behind the walls under the oil tank. These old owners were just gross!
Mostly cleaned out. I can just image what we are going to find once the oil tank comes out.
This area will be a new storage area once the oil tank comes out.

and there was Fritos still in the bag! There was a flip flop somewhere under all the junk too. I'm scared to see what else might come out of there.

yeah I think we have the whole collection now. Those kids left there toys everywhere. I'm sure we will find more when we are landscaping next year.

Sorry but the action figures cracked me up...the poses they are in.
Our previous homeowner were slobs too. I found a letter from Santa in the top shelf of the kitchen cabinet covered in dust (her kids are in college!) There were cobwebs in all the closets & cat hair IN the freezer!!!!

wow those folks were really disgusting! i mean a bag of chips.......ugh! so ur removing oil tank? r u replacing it or was oil tank not needed?

yeah the action figures are everywhere. Brings back memories though. Chips are very gross, but now they are done. 
We are converting to gas for our heat now, so we don't need the tank anymore. It will be storage now. I can't wait. We will need it.

That action figure looks like one of the Village People.
We had a tank in our basement when we first moved here too and switched to gas about 2 yrs ago, ahhhh sweet storage space. They actually remove the tank in chunks. Enjoy!

One of the Village people! I think we should have save all of them that we found everywhere in and outside of the house. yes sweet storage space I can't wait. Much easier then our attic is. Yeah they said they might have to cut it in half to get it out the door. I don't care how, I just want it out.

this reminds me..my neighbor actually found an action figure from the old owners in her toilet which is why her toilet was always overflowing.

haha finding little treasures is one of the best parts of buying someone elses house....
When we went into our attic for the first time ( prob a month after closing) we found a typewriter, some clothes from the 70's, and a box full of 70's and 80's german porn( we didnt watch it haha they were in the boxes!) We gave it the our contractor the next day when he came to gut our place

I'm going to check our attic this weekend. I haven't dared to go up there.
