Look what I have been working on ...
I know I am jumping the gun, but I figured who knows how much time I will have when the baby comes - I wanted to get a head start on design and layout.
(I just threw in stock photos for now, until I can get pics of our baby in there)

I did them in InDesign, - I will be printing them on large format cardstock - so the centerfold baby is approximately ACTUAL size. People will get the illusion of holding the baby when they get to the centerfold of the birth announcement.

I'm a moron when it comes to this stuff. I still have my Photoshop CS2 for Dummies book that I got for Xmas and just don't have the time to look at it.
I don't know what I was thinking. I don't have ime to learn things like this with 2 kids and working full time. Well I guess it's nice to dream.
I'm due in May and willing to pay you to make those for me.

Gina those look amazing!!!!! And I love the saying you put on it. I wish we weren't due on almost the dame day or I would def be recruiting you! lol I am totally graphics illiterate on the computer. Maybe I should start playing around with stuff now.
I think you are going to have this baby on the 23rd.....its my b-day and a great day 
Any ideas--are you leaning boy or girl? I keep going back and forth for myself but lately I think boy. Hope you are feeling good!!

Jessica - still no idea what I am having, and it is weird - I am right down the middle with guessing - it changes every day! Still feeling great - time is flying by!
Kerry - I would love to share a template, but the program I am using (InDesign) is not one people often have, so it won't work, you wouldn't be able to open the file. 
The layout is pretty basic if you want to copy it in another program - but I am pretty bad with the programs that come with your computer. InDesign is pretty advanced, but for me it is what I work with everyday - so it is simple to me, more easy to work with than the programs on standard computers.
The only really advanced thing I had to do with this was silhoutte the centerfold baby, and the floral thing on the girl one was tricky - but I own the raw files I used to make that, but that wasn't as simple as I thought it would be.
Hope that helps - try it on your computer, let me know if you have questions.

I'm not that sophisticated when it comes to designing things and don't have any confidence that I could make something so nice.
If you have any interest in making some extra $$$- I would love to be a customer. We are due pretty close so you may not have the time or interest- but if you do please FM me- They are beautiful!!!!
