LOOK WHAT I MADE!!!!!! Move over Martha!!!!!!
Hey ladies.. just wanted to share the blanket that I made for Alex... I figured if I was sucessful, maybe I would make more!! LOL..
I still need to pull out the corners all the way but you can totally get the idea!! This is the first thing that I have sewn since I was a kid!!! I am so happy, and Alexzander loves it already!!!! Its all pieces of my favorite outfits from when he was little!!! Thanks for letting me share!!

I know for the size I wanted it was gonna be 150 or 175...  I figured I would try it myself!! LOL.. I am happy I did.. Brian was joking around and he said that this should be my new "hobby".. (I am a SAHM) and he thought it could keep me busy!!

love it! did you use a sewing machine? Did you use a quilting technique? I want to start my kids' blankets I just need some ideas. Did you put batting in it?
He'll always have that, even in his dorm room when he is missing home!

You have FM... oh.. in the FM I fogot to specify, but it should be obvious from what I wrote..lol that I used a sewing machine.
Oh and the fleece I used is available in Pink, Yellow, ecru and Blue. They were out of Blue when I went, otherwise it probably would have been blue backing!

I now know why they have those websites, although expensive, it took me 40 minutes and two phone calls to my two best friends to help me through cutting my sons first Easter shirt.. (he tan and blue plaid one towards the top..) lol.

Wow! Its awesome Lauren!!! Really beautiful! I never evn thought of something like that but what a nice way to feel like you..I mean they...can keep a piece of their childhood intact. We can all relate to seeing a fabric and remembering your little snuggly baby wearing it. And look at how BIG Alexzander is - and so gorgeous! You can definitely do that on the side, if its worth your time.
