Look what they said about the mets in Newsday
I will hang my head in shame if they blow this
If they don't make the playoffs, the Mets (87-72) will be the authors of a collapse that will rival the 1964 Phillies in baseball infamy. That team blew a 6 1/2-game lead with 12 to play.

I have very little faith... but my Dad and Brother both serious Met fans, refuse to believe that they will let them down.. ( I think they are crazy)
