Looking for a 3 day vacation location for February
Any ideas??
We have been to Mystic twice -
Last year we went to Caesars Cove haven in Poconos.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated...
We are looking for a 3 hour drive - the longest.
Places you stayed that you recommend would be helpful too.

Dc is longer than a 3 hour drive - Anyone have hotels or inns to recommend?
I would love to go to Mohonk but Danielle doesnt have off the days they have their special going on...and it is too expensive on other nights

Three hours or so can also get you to Providence, RI
Newport, RI
Northampton, MA
Lenox, MA (and basically anything in the Berkshires)
How about taking an inexpensive flight to Chicago or any of Southwest or JetBlue's short -hop flights?

We've stayed at the Inn at Silver Maple Farm a few times and it was REALLY nice... it's a quiet town, but not too far of a drive from Lenox & Stockbridge and near plenty of skiing.

Mirror Lake Inn, Lake Placid
Whiteface Lodge Resort, Lake Placid
DH took me up to LP for a long weekend in October and we had a blast. The Mirror Lake Inn is great b/c it's right in town so you can walk to the shops, restaurants, bars/breweries.
The Whiteface Lodge Resort isn't right in town, but I would imagine they have shuttles to take you there. It's supposed to be beautiful!!
ETA: oops...sorry, just noticed you were looking for a 3 hr drive max. Oh well.

We usually stay at the Albrotross Inn but you can stay at The Montauk Manor.
