Looking for a cake idea online-- help please!
My girls' theme is cupcake. For my 1-year-old I'm going to do the giant cupcake cake.
For my 4-year-old, I was going to do a cool design with cupcakes. She is obsessed with the color yellow, so she & I came up with the idea of doing a sun.
This is the kind of thing I'm looking for, but a sun design obviously....
I don't want it to be individual suns, I want them to piece together like this flower does. And I don't necessarily want to do the pull-away cupcake cakes (where it's frosted all together, to look like a full cake).
Can anyone find my vision online? I'm sure it exists, just can't!

Thank you!! That's cute, but not exactly what I had in mind. I like how the flower picture has separate cupcakes that make up the cake, KWIM?
In my head I'm envisioning a bunch of cupcakes working outward and it being gradients of sun colors-- yellow, orange, red, etc (or at least shades of yellow). But I am not nearly creative enough to come up with a design on my own!

What if you made the center of the sun out of a bunch of cupcakes in a round like one of these flowers, and then the rays could be lines of cupcakes, rather than the frosting like they have the stem of the flowers.

oh this is a good idea!! thanks for all the ideas ladies! dd does also like the idea of doing the flower cake I posted in yellow (sunflower) too.
