Looking for a new TV....Suggestions?
We want to get a 1080 (whatever the hell that means - DH tried to explain but it went over my head) LCD 42" or so that we can wall mount
any suggestions?

Connections (for DVDs, Blu-Rays, video games, etc)
Watching Movies
Playing video games
Color/Black accuracy
Depending on the answers, the "recommended" TV will vary.

i don't know anything about what shawn said  but DH and i have a 52" samsung touch of color LCD TV and we are soooo in love with it! it's 1080p, and worth every penny

We have the Sony Bravia 1080 LCD. I think it's either 42 or 46." We've had it since Feb. and are very happy with it.

We got the 32" at NewEgg.com and were very happy with it.

Same for us!!!
We *LOVE* ours and right now we have it on the stand it came with but one day, when we move, we'll mount it on the wall -- looks great!
ETA: this Christmas will be our third?? I THINK our third Christmas with it.

we have a Sony 1080i 42" HDTV (lol just typing all that was confusing) but DH picked it out and it's actually a really nice TV...great picture/color quality.
esp if you get the HD cables to go with it
