Re: Looking for a Recipe to make Shrimp..
scampi is simple...
saute some minced garlic in a little butter and oil, then add a little lemon juice and some white wine, maybe some parsley and pepper...let the alcohol cook off and then throw the shrimp in, they're done when they turn pink.
you can have it with pasta or rice....
or you can grill them on the foreman grill....marinate them in teryaki, or tequila, or lime juice, or bbq sauce...and then grill them, serve with potatoes, rice, grilled veggies....

what about coconut shrimp
1 cup of bisquick & 1 can of dark ale beer.
Mix that as you would a pancake mix.
Dip the shrimp in the batter & then in coconut & then fry them, You can serve it with duck sauce or marmilade.
Scampi,
fry up a few cloves of garlice in a small sauce pan with evvo, then add a stick of butter & 3/4 cup cooking wine. Let that cook down & then add 1 squeezed lemon & orgegano s&p add the shrimp & turn the heat to low , Cook until the shrimp turn pink, & then toss the shrimp &that sauce over angel hair. mm mm mm

shrimp scampi is soo easy and sooo good! we also do shrimp stir fry, too- you can even buy frozen stir fry veggie mix, throw it in a pan with some oil, soy sauce and maybe a little terriaki sauce till its cooked through, add the shimp in towards the end till it gets pink, and then serve it over boil-in-a-bag rice

Re: Looking for a Recipe to make Shrimp..
This recipe is tasty and easy. I modified it a bit by also using a 1/2 cup of chicken broth and serving with pasta.
Shrimp Scampi with Spinach
1 cup long-grain white rice 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 2 cloves garlic, sliced 1 cup dry white wine 1 28 ounce can diced tomatoes, drained kosher salt and pepper 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 5-ounce package baby spinach
Cook the rice as per package directions
Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Add the garlic and cook for one minute. Add the wine, tomatoes, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper. Simmer for 3 minutes, until thee sauce has thickened slightly.
Add the spinach and stir until wilted.
Spoon the rice into a serving dish and top with scampi.
