Looking for a restaurant...
In Manhattan,
anywhere from 43rd/11th to Rockefeller Center
Italian, American, Continental are the safest...Rich is picky.
We've eaten in Tony's di Napoli and sooooo many of the Times Square restaurants, but I'm looking for something more intimate, less commercial, but not pricey.
This is for Saturday night - we FINALLY get to use my birthday present! Rich bought me tickets to see Wicked waaaaay back in February, and its finally close! I'm so excited.
I know a few of you know that area pretty well - I'd love some suggestions! Thank you
eta: I'm gonna need a STUFFED VEAL CHOP...I feel the craving getting started

Re: Looking for a restaurant...
Cara Mia on 8th Ave between 44th and 45th is great Italian, small and intimate, not to $$$ - I always recommend Victor's Cafe on 52nd between 8th and Broadway, GREAT food, but Cuban, so picky eaters may not like it.

I love Lidia. My cousin made a recipe from one of her cookbooks for DH & I last week and it was so delicious. Roasted pork chops with pears.
