Re: looking for a SPICY chili recipe!
this is mine...you can add the beans
brown 4 cloves of garlic in 2 tablespoons of EVOO in a big pot...add 2-3 pounds of chopped meat
Brown and then add 4 diced zucchinis, a pkg of sliced mushrooms broken up, a large onion diced...cook it down until veggies soften and add 3 tablespoons chili powder, 3 tablespoons cumin, 3 tablespoons of beef bullion seaoning and 3 or 4 cans of the 10.5 oz diced tomatoes with chilies (I buy the americas choice ones from Waldbaums)...add hot sauce to taste
serve and garnish with diced onion, shredded cheddar and sour cream
DH is yelling at me not to give the recipe away

Re: looking for a SPICY chili recipe!
This is the one I make:
2 pounds turkey 1 red pepper - chopped 1 green pepper - chopped 1 red onion - - chopped 6 cloves garlic - chopped 2 - 28 oz cans diced tomatoes 1 can red kidney beans 1 can white cannelli beans (sp?) 1 can corn 2 TB tomato paste 4 TB chili powder 1/4 cup red pepper flakes A LOT of melt your face off hot sauce (from pepperheads - you can't get hot enough hot sauce from the supermarket) *optional - 1/2 bar of dark chocolate
Brown turkey. Drain & set aside. Cook garlic, peppers, onions till softened. Add in turkey and everything else. Cook for about 1.5 hours
