Looking for a very nice watch for DH's birthday
Budget: Under $3,000
I got him a watch maybe two years ago...but he always complains that all the guys at work have a lot of really nice watches and he wants one..nothing too flashy...a little sporty, but can be worn with suits, etc. if need be. I am at a loss...I know nothing about men's watches, help!

another Breitling, a little over $3k, ( by $66)
I like Breitling since it kind of has a sporty look (the chronograph) and can be totally dressy.

My DH loves them! Very nice and def will get a nice, great working watch for $3k or under.
ETA: Invicta, very sporty under $2k

The Tag Carrera that Smiley posted is a really nice watch. My DH has tried it on a few times and I really like it, especially with the black face.
Bretling has a gorgeous collection called Bentely but they start at $5500. My DH wants one so bad and I hope to surprise him one of these years.

Just showed DH. He likes these the best...he especially likes the first one (silver on silver) but doesn't want it to be a Tag for some reason....UGH! Still looking...thanks for all your help...

just want to say u can DEFINITELY find a nice watch for under 3k!
Every watch I have ever owned is under 1k even and they are awesome!  Under 3k is still an insanely hefty budget, IMO

Dh is into watches as well...
for the wedding i got him a breitling which was expensive
his other favorite watch that he has is a mont blanc that i got him for his birthday one year - i think that one was about 1500-2000 - they have some really nice watches

I recently bought a Raymond Weil for DH's bday. He loves it.
It is regular $1400 but I got it for 40% off at Fortunoff.

DH has an Omega & a Rolex. I would agree with PP's and look at Brietling and Raymond Weil.
