LOOKING FOR ANSWERS....FIRST TIMER HERE!
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this but have a question. I took 2 pregnancy tests last week and both came back positive (1-2 weeks PG) Then unfortunately this weekend I started bleeding a lot with very bad cramps. I just assumed I got my period but took another pregnancy test and it came back positive too. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow but does anyone know WHY OR HOW a test can still be positive? I'm so confused by this.
Thanks for your responses. xo

Sorry for what you are going through! Even after a loss, it takes a little while for the hormones to fully leave your body. So for a few days or so, there is still enough in your system to result in a positive pregnancy test. I would definitely contact your doctor so they can see what is going on. Good luck!

I agree with the above poster. There are also lots of reasons why bleeding occurs in early pregnancy, but I think the bad cramps may be a sign that you miscarried. I would still call your doctor immediately. So sorry for what you're going thru.
