Looking for ideas for a restaurant in Suffolk to host 1st birthday party
So somehow we went from just keeping it simple and having close family over for cake to inviting everyone in our familes. We have a big family so once we start inviting certain relatives the guest list tends to snowball because then we cant leave certain people out. we cant have that many people at our house because its too small and DDs bday is in mid october when there are some cooler days so we dont want to have a backyard party. We also dont want to have it anywhere too fancy or expensive. We're thinking maybe a luncheon at an Italian place or maybe even a Chinese buffet, but we're not set on that idea. Preferably in the Smithtown/ronkonkoma area give or take 15 miles or so. We will probably end up with around 50 guests at least so it has to be a place with a party room big enough to accommodate that. There aren't many other young children in the family and since dd is only turning one we don't want to have it at a children's venue. We'll save that for when she's old enough to enjoy it. Any suggestions welcome! :)

Sundried Tomato Cafe in Nesconset has yummy food and good prices. The only thing is that the private room is on the long and narrow side, so you'd just have to make sure you're ok with the setup of the room

Uncle Joe is Lake Grove is very nice, has a big room in the back
Old Street Pub in Smith-town is really nice too, had two different size rooms to choose from
