Looking for information on Glen Cove Schools
A friend of mine is moving to Glen Cove and was interested in learning about it's special education department. Does anyone know anything about it?
She asked me because I am from LI and I teach special education, but I teach in Brooklyn and I am not terribly familiar with the special ed programs in LI districts.

I worked in Glen Cove as a TA in an inclusioin class, but I'm not sure on the specifics of the Sp.Ed. program. What kinds of things is she looking to find out?

I don't work in Glen Cove, but I work in a district similar to it on LI. In my district the Director/Assis't Supt of SpEd often takes meetings with prospective parents in the district who want to know more about the programs offered. Maybe your friend could request a meeting?
