I've heard that The Orient has excellent Chinese and is sit in.....it's in Bethpage.

Laguna Grille is really good (Westbury)
I love Laguna Grille. There is also one in Syosset. Hama Sushi in Plainview is excellent. La Famiglia in Plainview is great for Italian. Peppercorns in Hicksville is also excellent!

Mim's in Syosset is great.
Kumo Sushi in Plainview.
ITA with Laguna Grille in Woodbury as well as Butera's.

Laguna Grill and Butera's are both excellent.Mim's in Syosset, Haiku Sushi/Asian in Woodbury, and Angelos 2 in Syosset are all good. Avoid La Piazza in Plainview if you can, they are not accommodating, and it is over rated!

Laguna Grille in Woodbury is delish!!!! The Mixed Grill is also pretty good, La Famiglia (family style Italian) & Graffiti in Plainview. My favorite sushi place is in Syosset, Tenjin. If you go there, try the Pink special....omg yum!

Sante Fe Tequila on Woodbury Road
Monte's in Oldbethpage--- so much better than La Piazza IMO
Ruby Sushi in Plainview
Shish Ke BOb- Plainview
Wild Fig in syosset
The Main Event- Plainview
Cheeburger Cheeburger- Plainview
Lemon Leaf in HIcksville
All others mentioned are great also.
