Looking to buy a new computer monitor.
Right now we have the old school tube type. We want a flat screen.
What should I look for?

Re: Looking to buy a new computer monitor.
Not really much to look for. Most flat screens now are widescreen.
You just want to make sure you set your computer's display to the "native resolution" of the LCD, or else you will get a fuzzy or stretched picture.
I personally like LCDs that run at 1680x1050.
Anything larger than that, you will probably be sqinting to read the text.

Re: Looking to buy a new computer monitor.
I usually lean towards 19" or 20" displays. Much smaller, and it's hard to see the screen. Much larger, and it's $$$$.
At work, I have a 20" widescreen, 20" non-widescreen and 17" widescreen on its side (just for email).
At home, I have a 20" widescreen, and a 20" CRT.
