looking to get my first big girl bag....
Ok-I'm not looking for fancy fancy-something in the $200-$350 range. I like plain leather totes, hobos, etc. I've looked at Michael Kors bags and Kate Spade. Are there any other brands with similar styles?
**Silly me didn't do a search first. My, My, I'm learning all sorts of new words, like Furla, and Kooba!

Check out the Coach outlets in either Deer Park or Riverhead. I love my plain leather bag from there and they always have sales.

I agree. My first "big girl bag" was Cole Haan. I've had it for years and it still is in great shape, I love my Cole Haan bag. You might want to go to the Riverhead tanger outlet, there are better prices there and sales all the time.

Tory Burch too. Love her stuff and it's up there for me with Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade. Similarly priced as well.

I'm having such a hard time finding bags with silver hardware! I like the Chelsea bag in black or red by MK but think $400 is a little over budget.
