Looking to get out of commercial lease
My former doctor's office is in a beautiful building and we've since moved to another location. Where can I advertise to lease the space we still are paying rent on? The landlord is NOT giving us an option of getting out of our lease early. We are contracted until May. It is empty, but would need some rennovation. I think it could be ideal for another doctor or even a dentist. I've had no luck on craigslist finding someone to sublet the space, even very cheaply.

That may because of the short remaining lease term. Have a discussion with the landlord and ask if you find someone if they would be willing to offer a 3 year lease etc.

Also does your lease allow you to sublet? Many do not so be careful
