Looking to help local familes dealing with the aftermath
I have two boxes of stuff to donate to people in need from Sandy, but don't have the gas to get anywhere. If somebody would come get them, that would be great.
I don't have huge pockets to donate money but still want to help!!!
In the box is: -blankets -pillow -baby formula (Enfamil Gentlease) -unopened box of baby cereal -baby & boys clothes (size 9 months-up to 3T) -granola bars -soup -cleaning items -plastic bags -bottle water
I'm still finding stuff (I have toys, etc).
Would be perfect for somebody with baby/toddler boys who lost EVERYTHING
I basically went through my house getting stuff together. I would love this to go to somebody in need dealing with the effects of Sandy.

OK, we have gas. I can go out tomorrow to donate. Anybody know anywhere close to Holbrook to donate to Hurricane victims?

I am going to volunteer at a donation center in Bellport tomorrow if you'd like me to pick up the two boxes! I also had heard that a salon in Holbrook was collecting too, not sure of the name though!
