Looks like I am going to have to wait another month
I just started my period today, and unfortunately my insurance is still processing my claim and the earliest they will hear back is next week. So that means no meds, nothing!!! I have been waiting to do my first IUI since May but since I had 2 m/c's they said I had to wait a year with the inablility to concieve, which would be July, so I don't know what the hold up is!!! I am typing this in tears right now because every time I think I am getting close...I get hit with something like this!!! I can't even talk to my nurse b/c she is on vacation, so I just e-mailed my doctor.....

I'm sorry sweetie I know how hard waiting is... is there anything the dr can do in the meantime? (BCPs even)? I can't remember what procedure you're doing (sorry)

I am doing a medicated IUI with Follistim. I spoke to my RE and he said we just had to wait for the insurance and that they sent it in twice. So I called the insurance and the only record they have in the computer is my request that was made a few months ago that was denied!!! Grrrr. It just makes me soooo MAD!!!! And there's nothing I can do

Can someone from your dr's office call them directly? Or can you 3 way the call from your insurance to your dr so you can be on the call as well? I would think a call directly from your dr might make a diff- I know that for my last IUI there were all sorts of issues- one of which was a 'medical necessity' for my taking lupron- there was a holdup of over 2 weeks b/c of it- all it took was 1 call from my nurse to the ins. co and it was all fixed. GL sweetie!
