Please tell me what your 4 month old's schedule looks or looked like?

THanks! Also, how many hours does DC sleep at night? Does he/she wake for feedings?

Re: Please tell me what your 4 month old's schedule looks or looked like?

7-7:30 am: wakes-up & bottle
10 am: cereal & bottle
11 am: naps for about 1/2 hr - 1 hr
1 pm: bottle
2 pm: naps 1/2 hr - 1 hr
4-5 pm: cereal & bottle
6 pm: naps 1/2 hr - 1hr
7:30 pm: bath
9 pm: usually start to get tired; will give him another bottle before bed & read to him

In between his naps and feedings I take him out with me to run errands and shop. If I'm home he plays in his walker, jumperoo, bouncy seat, will watch cartoons in his swing for a 1/2 hr. or we do tummy time.

7:30am-Wakes up and has bottle
8:00am-Watches Sesame Street so that I can wake up and do a few things around the house.
9-10:30am-We play. He also will go in his pnp and play with his toys or look in his mirror (this cracks me up beyond belief when he laughs at himself)
10:30am-Bottle
11:00am-Goes into his swing and will usually catnap from a half hour to an hour
Noon-2:30pm-We usually leave the house to do errands or whatnot during this time.
2:30pm or 3pm-Bottle
3ish-Nap in his crib, this is his big nap of the day, usually an hour or two depending on how active we've been.
5:30pm-Cereal
6:00pm-Bath
6:30pm-7pm-Bottle
7:30ish-Book then bed.

He wakes up once or twice during the night for bottles. We believe this is because he usually takes 4oz at a feeding (except his last one, he takes 6 then) and he is hungry, but he doesn't like more than 4 or 5oz at a sittingChat Icon

my ds is 3 1/2 months and we don't actually have a schedule yet, every day is different. the only thing that stays the same is that:

-he eats every 4 hours (ebf) during the day.

-he's awake usually 3 hours at a time and then naps for 1-3 hours.

-at night he eats between 11:00pm or midnight and sleeps till about 6-8 am, eats and then sleeps 2-3 more hours.

we stay up late and sleep late. we do tummy time about 6-8 times a day, he plays on his play mat, we read books, sing, and talk a lot. honestly, we don't leave the house as much as i'd like to. it's just easier to stay home.

We've been on the same schedule since four months:

7am wake and bottle
8-8:30 quick nap
We go outside with the dog, water the flowers and just spend time outside before its too hot.
10:30 bottle
12-1:30 nice long nap
2:00 bottle
another 40 minute nap somewhere here....
5:00 bottle
8:00 bottle, bath, book, bed

Dd spends a lot of time on her activity mat, exersaucer and jumperoo. She loves to watch the dog or be in the bjorn as we do errands around town.

sleeps form 9pm -6:45am

she was taking 6 ounces a bottle at four months and takes 7 ounce bottles now at five months.

Wow, how do all of your children sleep for so long at night without waking??? DD usually sleeps for like 6-7 hours, then gets up and wants to eat, then goes back down for like 3 hours more. And during the day she still wants to eat every 2-3 hours!!Chat Icon
Oh, and she hates to nap!! She usually has one longish (hour or so a day)... but the rest are 10 mins here, half hour there!

My DS is the same way, I figured it was because he doesn't eat as much as other babies his age. How does she eat?Chat Icon
