Losing Sleep- DS Rolls at Night and Gets Stuck
DS (4 months old) has been a good sleeper most of the time. He goes to bed around 9 pm and wakes up at 6 am. He used to sleep on his back and a few weeks ago started sleeping on his side, which is fine. Recently, he's been rolling in his sleep and getting stuck. He'll roll on to his belly and wake up crying and frustrated. He'll bury his face in the sheets and get tired of being on his belly. (DS's reflux doesn't help the situation any which is why he doesn't like being on his belly.) It's as if he likes the act of rolling on to his belly but not staying on his belly. He forgot how to roll on to his back.
I have to keep flipping him on his back to get him to calm down and go back to sleep. A few minutes later, the cycle starts all over again. DH and I thought he would resolve this on his own, but instead he keeps crying until one of us helps him. I keep getting nervous because DS will keep his face planted in the sheets and cry until he gets help.
At some point he'll conk himself out and just stay on his side...but I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to help him? I want my sleep back

Re: Losing Sleep- DS Rolls at Night and Gets Stuck
We're going through the same thing right now. DD will be 4 months on Monday and has been sleeping really well since about 2 months old. She's been rolling over for the past 3 weeks now and she too gets "stuck" on her belly and gets upset and starts crying.
I have been running in there to put her back on her back. Last night however, she was quiet and I looked on the monitor and she was sleeping on her belly!
So, maybe it takes some time for them to get used to being on their bellys?
Hang in there!
