sleep HELP PZ! (rolling onto belly & getting stuck)
ds is now rolling onto his belly in the middle of the night and getting stuck like that. it wakes him up and i'm not comfortable with him sleeping like that because he face plants into the mattress. he does roll from belly to back but not when he needs to.
is there anything i can do to keep him from flipping over until he becomes better at flipping back? can i put something in his crib to block him? is there a sleep positioner i can use?
i see weeks of sleepless nights ahead.
tia!

Re: sleep- rolling onto belly & getting stuck?
You can get a sleep positioner that has the 2 sides sticking up. That might help. Unfortunately, most babies go through a period of this. I remember going into DD's room at night b/c she'd be crying and stuck on her belly. We probably did that for a couple of weeks.....2-3 times a night.

Re: sleep- rolling onto belly & getting stuck?
My DD did this, but only for a few nights & I rolled her back when I heard her "whining" with her face in the mattress! It didn't last long, though - just a few times. We worked with her after that on rolling over both ways & she soon went back and forth with no problem on her own. Now she sleeps on her belly or back depending on her mood!
