losing weight and eating carbs
do you think I would lose more weight faster if I cut out the high carb snacks?? I eat protein for my meals but I eat the 100 calorie snacks and they have a lot of carbs and I like them but the weight is coming off slower than when I usually snack on celery
what do you guys think??

I did find when I dropped a lot of weight, cutting the snacks with the carbs did make the weight come off faster but once you start to incorporate them back in, they do make you gain faster too...Learning what I have, I like to do everything in moderation

It'll work for short term, but as was already stated, if you start eating them again the weight will come back on fast.
I've done it when I needed to drop weight fast, but I gained it right back. You can always cut, and the reintroduce very slowly and that should work better. Just exercise, excercise, exercise and you should be good.

I think that if you like what you are doing and it is working for YOU then stick with it. Faster doesn't mean better.
Having said that...I don't love those 100 calorie snacks. They do absolutely nothing for me. What about incorporating more fruit in your diet? If you eat more fruit instead of those snacks you will stop craving them and your sweet tooth will subside.

I have been jogging and walking at least 3 miles everyday I have been eating very healthy and I am down around 22lbs since July

That is great Congrats on your loss so far you sounds like you are doing awesome!!! If it ain't broke I don't think I would try to fix it

thanks ....the raeson I asked this was just because lately I feel like the loss has slowed down and I was weondering if it was because I have been eating more carb snacks but I guess slow and steady wins the race right?? thanks so much

I think it's just natural to slow down after a while. As long as you are still losing and haven't hit a plateau (a long period of time with no weight loss) I wouldn't stress about it. If this is something you can LIVE with, that's all that matters!

I used to jog/walk everyday but now I can only walk because I have 2 babies on tuesday,wednesday and thursday and I dont have a double jogger only a double regular stroller......but I jog/walk the other 4 days .....maybe this is why the weight loss has slowed down I should really start doi9ng the Wii fit but I have 3 kids during the day and then 5-6 kids until 6:45 and then my 3 kids until bedtime and my 21 mth old doesnt believe in sleep anymore so its hard to find the time to put in any extra

Instead of cutting out foods, perhaps just up your run by like half a mile a day. It doesn't seem like much, but it will help you get over the plateau. I had lost a few lbs and then plateaued. I then upped my mileage slightly and re-energized my metabolism and lost a few more lbs.
