loss of appetite?
Has this happened to anyone? For the past two days, I haven't wanted to eat at all which is a big change for me. It's very early in my pg. I force myself to eat even though I don't want to. No m/s yet. Maybe this is what happens right before? TIA

Re: loss of appetite?
I'm definitely not eating as much as I was before I was pg. Nothing is appealing to me.

Re: loss of appetite?
I still have some days where I am ravenous & then others where I force myself to have a peice of fruit just to get nourished. It is common I think.

Re: loss of appetite?
I had no appetite for my first 20 weeks of pregnancy, I ate because I was hungry not because I wanted to eat... it will get better

Re: loss of appetite?
I am with you. My appetite is not very much. I eat anyway but just because I know I have to.
I am on a bunch of medicines and vitamins so that helps me stick to an eating schedule.
My only real craving is WOnton soup and rice

Re: loss of appetite?
totally lost it in 1st trimester, came back in 2nd and if this pg is the same as DD, I lose it again in 3rd trimester since the baby pushes all your organs and tummy around.

Re: loss of appetite?
Didnt have much of an appetite in the first - had a lot of small meals - took a few bites, then I was done. 2nd trimester I ate a ton of stuff - there were days where I dont think there was enough food in the universe - I wanted to eat it all.
Just started the 3rd trimester - appetite has gone way down.

Re: loss of appetite?
I am 29 weeks and I haven't had an appetite for my entire pregnancy! Between horrible m/s and a host of other issues, it has been the best diet I have ever been on

Same here. I keep saying my appetite will catch up to me, and so will the weight!

Re: loss of appetite?
Yes. I had it bad for a while and now my appetite is off and on (almost 12 weeks). It was crazy because I could feel my body being sooooo hungry but I had no desire to eat so ended up forcing myself to eat many a time...

Same with me & I'm 10 weeks. I was just thinking about this yesterday when I noticed that I still had an opened bag of M&M's from last week & they never usually last that long.

Re: loss of appetite?
I go thru that a lot - I think its natural. I'm only hungry when the baby goes thru a growth spurt....
