Lost all my pregnancy weight but my rings still dont fit

Is this normal? How long did it take before you were able to wear your rings again?

After giving birth it took me almost 2 months to get my wedding band on again and almost 3 months to get my engagement ring back. My hands and feet were soo swollen even though I had lost all my pregnancy weight and more.

i still cant get them on. i couldnt even when i lost the weight plus more andn ow i gained but i havent wore them in like a year. it doesnt make sense to me why they wouldnt even fit when i was lower than pp

DS is 5 and my E- ring and wedding band still don't fit

I ended up buying a plain gold band till I get them resized

You will be swollen for somtime still. Hang in there! I bet they fit in a few more weks.

I was just about to ask this question. I'm so sad I can't wear my rings I actually cried last night just looking at them.

I can get them on. can't weat them though because my fingers swell up over them. I had to get my wedding band resized so it would fit comfortably.

I think my knuckle went up a size.
I lost all my pregnancy weight and water retention in about 2 weeks.
Now it's 7 months later and my rings still don't fit without a fight.
Some people say their shoe size went up from pregnancy- my finer size did.
It's so bizzare!

sometimes mine fit and sometimes they dont. its just if I am retaining water or not.

I lost all of my pg weight + an additional 10 lbs and they still didn't fit; so after a year I got them sized

I could squeeze mine on after 3 weeks but I had to wash my hands/put lotion on to slide them off. It's almost two months now and they slide on much easier but I sometimes still have trouble getting them off past my knuckle. I think whatever hormone your body releases in prep for child labor to expand your joints affects your fingers and feet, as well as water retention. Might take a while but I've heard things go back to normal, slowly but surely!

I lost all my weight and than some and my e ring wouldn't go back on and since it was an eternity band it couldn't be resized dh got me a new setting for Xmas. I'm.guessing my knuckles grew and they won't go back to their original size ever again.
