I cant really beleive that Jack would get so broken up about Walts dad dying....
Unless it had something to do with the rescue.
I also agree with the poster who said what they think the next few seasons will be focusing on. I said that DH last night. I'm sure there is a story behind the boat that is offshore too, and there may be a story line around that.
I also thought maybe it was Michael in the coffin. My initial thought was that it was Sawyer, but at the end when Kate was talking to Jack and said he's going to start wondering where I am, made me believe that Kate and Sawyer ended up together after being rescued. I do not believe for a second she is with Ben.
I also think Richard is a bigger charactor than they've elaborated on this season and we will learn more about him next season.

I think it is Sawyer in the coffin. It could possibly be Ben (maybe he was run off the Island by Locke) I don't think Locke leaves the Island. I think he 'takes over' the others as their leader.

Seeing as he hasn't aged since Ben was a kid, I'd have to agree there's something going on with him.
I don't know why but I don't think Kate was referring to Sawyer.

remember she was in the same mental hospital as Hurley -- and she lent Desmond the boat to sail around the world...

I think Ben is in the coffin - he is the only person on that island that not a single solitary person would go to the viewing for. Curious who paid for the funeral though 
This being Lost, I don't think that this was necessarily a true flash forward. Perhaps we're entering a stage of "what ifs" as in - this is what would have happened should they have gotten off the island in Naomi's boat.
I was  at the fact that they still dressed Walt like a 9 year old and played with his voice to get it to sound the same but the kid probably had to shave before going on set!

I was the same about the voice ... and that he was conveniently shot from below so it would appear as if he was BIG because of the angle!!

I thought it was a great episode!!
Charlie- I knew it was coming- and it had to. It was a great way to end his story line. I read an interview with the producer- and I can't b eleive the reporter asked him how the death will affect his relationship with Evangeline Lilly
Cool ideas with the flash foward. Kate looked great. I also kinda thought she ended up with Sawyer. But it could be a big twist and she ends up with Ben. I think either Locke or Ben or even Sawyer in the coffin- but I didn't know about the NY part. Maybe its Michael. I thought it was also interesting that the funeral was in LA (as per the newspaper clipping) for someone from NY- with no one at the viewing.
Walt- He is so big!! I'm glad he came back. I read that they wanted Michael to come back, but he didn't want to. Maybe that was their way of reminding you about Walt and Michael.
Mikail- obviously the man cannot die. That is going to be interesting.
Loved the scene with Penny!!! Who is Naomi will be the big mystery next season IMO.
I can't beleive we have to wait until January for more Lost!

Another thought on Naomi-
ben said he woudl convince Jack not to take the rest of them to the water tower. He is also shown to be a big fat liar. So I don't believe anything he said.
But I do think that Naomi is not who she says she is. I don't think her presence has anything to do wtih the Others.
So here is my conspiracy theory mind- Either she is part of Dharma (which I doubt) or maybe she is part of the people who told everyone they were dead in the first place and they want to keep them there on that Island- or kill them.
I think by telling Charlie that in death, he was hailed a hero- it was another encouragment for him to sacrafice himself.
Who knows? Thank G-d we only have 2 more years. I dont' think I can handle any more

I think that naomi could be from Dharma, it would kinda make sense with her desmond link....
hard to say but I dont think they would focus on her so much if she was truly just someone to save them, there is some back story there....
And HOW the heck Does Penny find the "Frequency" they are on..Its just weird...

Maybe the reason Ben is so damn persistant that they arent supposed to leave is because he had already left before and ended up like Jack- freaking out to go back.
