Low cost / No cost changes that you made to your decor?

This weekend DH took down the shower doors, i spent 12.99 on a shower curtain rod. I put up a curtain that i saved from previous home and am soooo much happier with my bathroom.

i posted the shower doors for free on craigslist, five minutes later, someone was there to get them prior to putting them to curb!

that is awesome! Chat Icon

we bought a screen door for our sunroom about 2.5 years ago from the Restore and only paid $18 for it. We felt good about it because the money goes to a charity and we bought a screen door for $18. Win win in my book! Chat Icon

We painted my cousin's old dining room table, chairs and china cabinet white and sprayed the hardware black.

We also recovered the chairs.

I LOVE how it came out. Not to mention that it saved me $$$$ on buying a new set!

I need to post pictures!

One of my friends asked me if my set was from Crate and Barrel the other day!!

I'd love to know how you did this! We have a hand-me-down set that is well-built but the finish is wearing off so its looking pretty bad. What type of paint did you use?
