Low fat chocolate smoothie - no banana
I want to start making/drinking healthy low fat smoothies at home. Since chocolate is my favorite flavor I started looking up recipes but they all include banana. I don't like bananas at all! I can leave them out but will it change the consistency or something because seriously... every recipe had them as an ingredient. Thanks!
Any smoothie tips/recipes are welcome!

Re: Low fat chocolate smoothie - no banana
I've seen some where it's just choice of milk, tons of ice, non-fat cocoa powder, & a little sweetener or honey.
Im not sure how it comes out.
I use frozen banana or strawberries & omit the ice, because I liken the consistency & want the fruit.

Bananas give it a really thick, creamy consistency. Try greek yogurt instead.

I know this is going to sound weird but I've put avocado in smoothies to thicken them up too and give it a creamier flavor. You really don't taste it and it tastes really decadent.
