Low Progesterone Level? -warning: might be tmi - UPDATE

Yesterday (4DPO) I had some pretty thick discharge (sorry tmi!). Then when I woke this morning (5DPO) I had bright pink/light red when I wiped.

So I e-mailed my doctor and he thought it would be a little too early for implantation spotting and suggested that he check my progesterone level - which I will do tomorrow morning.

First - has anyone ever heard of implantation happening 5 DPO?

Second - if my progesterone level is low - does that mean this cycle is out?

Updated - I just read about break through bleeding - which results from the shift from estrogen to progesterone. Maybe that's what I am experiencing?

10/27 update - Just got a call from the doctor's office and they said my progesterone level for where I am in my cycle is excellent.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

Yes, implantation can certainly happen that early

and, if your progesterone is low, start suppositories immediately

Its definitely not too early. You shoudl eb on prog like Lisa said if it is low

I was put on clomid for VERY low progesterone and have a healthy 11 month old . There is no way I would have conceived (and carried) without it.
