Lower abdominal cramping- update
I am 5 weeks today- pregnant from IVF. I have had cramping nonstop (but sporadic throughout the day) for the last 1 1/2 weeks which the dr. said is related to needing to drink 1 gallon of water each day. I woke up today with different cramping- they are much lower- like underwear line and lower than that and are more intense and continual throughout today. I am getting nervous. I have my first sono on Friday. I have not had any bleeding or spotting but I'm not sure what this is. These cramps seem to be closer to period cramps rather than the pregnancy cramps I have been feeling prior to this.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it normal or should I be worried?

I had a lot of cramping from 4-6 weeks. None of it came with spotting so it ended up being fine. If you are worried, give doctor a call just in case.

Lower abdominal cramping
I had occasional very, very mild cramping (and also did IVF). I think it is normal, but if you fell uncomfortable, call your RE or Ob.

I tried calling the office when I first woke up but everyone is closed today so I have to wait until tomorrow morning  I have had the mild cramping but this is pretty painful. Not double over pain but close. If it gets worse or if I see blood, I'll go to the hospital but I'm kinda stuck until tomorrow.

Lower abdominal cramping
I had period type cramping from right before I got BFP for a while..I was convinced I was not PG until I got the call...try and relax, definitely drink the water and call tomorrow if you are really nervous..

Thanks girls. I went for a sono today and my right ovary is still pretty enlarged due to the hyperstimulation. Dr said it will continue to be monitored but they didn't have my original measurements from the transfer to compare.
But on that note I also found out I am pregnant with twins!
