Lower pelvic pain at 12 weeks?

Actually, I don't even want to call it "pain"...it's like a random intense pressure that comes and goes in my pelvic area on the left side. It only lasts for a second. It's not sustained and it doesn't "hurt", it's just that I do feel it when it comes.

Anyone have experience this? I'm still not used to having weird twinges all the time!

I have felt this. I am 12 weeks also and every little twinge has me wondering if something is wrong. When I saw my Dr on Tuesday she said that your body is changing and stretching so expect to feel strange things here and there. She told me unless I was doubled over in pain that it is nothing to worry about.

Typically, it's round ligament pain. Everything starts stretching around the end of the trimester (and keeps going!). But if you're ever concerned, call your doctor. That's what they are there for!

I'm a little over 12 weeks and I have been having the same twinges here and there, always low in my pelvis and on the left side. I just saw the doc on tues and they said as long as it isn't intense pain then it's normal.

Okay - glad to hear others are experiencing the same thing! I'm not worried - I only get concerned if things are really painful or sustained - I just wanted to make sure it was normal.
