Lowering crib mattress...
At what age did you lower the crib mattress to the lowest position?

Once DS started sitting up and crawling. I was afraid he would pull himself over the side of the crib.

We just did it last week and DD is 9 months. She is more active and was starting to pull herself up.

My ped recommends it once your DC can sit unassisted - he said he has seen kids get hurt b.c they pull to standing unexpectedly one day (to the surprise of their parents) and can fall out.

also did it today! DS will be 8 months this month. i found him sittin upright with the mobile animals in his hands so i thought this was the time!
