Lupron and your Dr
I started taking Lupron last week and got a light AF today. I noticed on my paperwork that I have to go in for a sono this coming week but I was wondering if you are supposed to call your dr. when you get AF after taking Lupron. I don't recall the nurse telling me this. Does anyone know? TIA

I dont think you do. When is your appt? But if your not sure you should call and ask.

I would mention it to the Doc. I didn't get any breakthrough bleeding on Lupron, but bled the whole 3 weeks on BCP my Doc said not to worry it's just the hormones!

I just got AF and I have to call RE on Monday to start meds and get baseline sono. I would call b/c aren't you suppose to start this week too? How much lupron are you on?

I'm scheduled for a sono on 2/16. I thought thats they would check to see if everything was quiet enought so I can start to stim. I think I may just give them a call to check. Thanks Ladies.

I was on BCP and when I started stimming I got AF. When I went for my first sono after stimming I still had AF. I am pretty sure they expect it, they put you on the lupron to stop the ovulation process so when you start stimming you are expected to get AF.

Called the nurse and she said it's fine. She told me to come in for my sono on Fri as scheduled. Thanks Ladies...don't know what I would do without you guys. Even DH was like well did you ask the girls on the board. LOL!
