lupron really does burn....
very weird- tonight I held an ice pack to my stomach for about 5 mins straight before DH gave me my injection. I couldn't feel A THING- I even watched DH put the needle in and inject and wait 5 seconds before pulling it out--- I watched the ENTIRE thing and didn't feel anything. As soon as DH asked, I said, "I didn't feel a thing " and with that I screamed out "OWWWWWWW" then "OWWWW" again- I could feel sharp burning pain for about the next 10 seconds--- now nothing... I swear it was the lupron moving along my stomach... does that makes sense?

Sorry you are having a hard time with the Lupron. I never had any side effects or burning sensation after taking the injection. Usually after DH gave me the injection, I would just take a gauze pad and press it against the site of the shot for a minute or two. Maybe try that and see if that helps?

Thanks- that's what I was taught to do after the gonal-f injections- so that's what i've been doing for the lupron shots too... I just don't get it- the gonal-f NEVER burned...

The Lupron burned a little for me - I would just inject a little slower - that seemed to help.
Hang in there!
