Luteal Phase question
Today I am 14DPO on CD 26. Last night I had some staining but nothing showed up this morning. I know this COULD be implantation spotting but I tend to doubt it. All signs point to AF coming shortly.
My cycles have been 28 days with my last cycle being 27. If AF arrives in full force tomorrow, my luteal phase will have decreased by one day and my cycle will be 26 days. I know that at this point, it is not short, but considering how regular I have been in the past, at what point should I be concerned. When does a luteal phase become TOO short?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Luteal Phase question
A luteal phase is considered short if it is 10dpo or less.
So there was NOTHING there this morning...hmmmm...

Re: Luteal Phase question
That is good to know. Thanks! Who ever thought that this charting thing would be helpful. I still friggin hate it. I havent gotten a decent night's sleep in 3 months since I started.

Leslie - Where is your temp? I hope this is it for you - just b/c you feel her coming, does not mean she is. Many women swear AF is just around the corner - but low & behold BFP

Re: Luteal Phase question
My temp dropped a little but not significantly from 98.4 to 98.2 but still above the cover line. The cramping/discomfort I feel is pretty low down this time, (like the flood gates can open any second-sorry for the mental image).

Re: Luteal Phase question
Thanks!
If AF is going to come, I just wish she would come so I can move on and make the appointments/arrangements I need to make. It seems many parts of our lives hinge on my cycle - ie work (mine AND DH's), vacation plans, family obligations etc. My first obligation is to us, but it is never that easy.
This month marks one year TTC.

It sux sometimes, it really does. I wish you luck...but I wouldn't worry too much about the change in Luteal Phase. Sometimes your cycle will change due to stress and because of the IUI's, etc. you may be experiencing additional stress.
