M N M - Initials
We like the name Mikaela Nicole, the only problem is her last name starts with an M. So it would be
Mikaela Nicole Mi....
Is this terrible if we do this to her? The kids would probably tease her? Like a true M&M!!!!
what do you think? should we rethink the middle name, if so, what should it be?

I think it's cute...plus think about how many times you actually use your middle name and will the kids actually put it together?!?! If you love it...go for it!!!!!!!!!

I dont think it's a big deal. How many kids in school knew your middle name anyway? If she's going to get an M&M reference, she'd get it anyway since her first and last initials are MM.

Every single time I say something to DH about our child getting teased over his/her name he reminds me that it doesn't matter what we do kids are cruel and if it is not a name it will be something else (unless our child is the bully).
MNM is cute. If you like it, go for it!!

As a high school teacher, I have a totally different perspective. Kids can be very cruel and I am very conscious of initials.

I doubt kids would make fun of her--most wouldn't even know her middle name. Those who do would probably think this is cute.
We have friends who have a daughter who just had her bat mitzah, and her initials are MM, so she had an M & M theme. You could do cute things for a birthday party! I'm not sure, but I don't think anyone really teased their daughter.

From someone who has the initials of BJ, I say go for it (even though I was teased all the time).
Plus the fact, she probably won't be MNM forever.... she might have a husband one day and change her last name!!!

My initials are MMS with my maiden and married name and honestly not one person growing up or now has ever said anything to me. They made fun of other stuff though!  
I wouldn't worry about it at all.
