Re: mac and cheese recipe

My nanny had a simple recipe...

One box of elbow macaroni (she specified cremette brand but I havent seen it for a while) - cooked per instructions

In a baking dish mix macaroni with a pound of shredded cheddar cheese and a can of evaporated milk. Bake at 350 until the cheese is all melted. I usually let it brown a bit on top b/c I like that. probably 40 minutes will do it.

I recently made this. Very easy to make. It's a lot, but good for leftovers!

I've used the pioneer woman recipe and it's been good.

Used this one too! And also the one on the box of Ronzoni elbow macaroni. Very simple and delicious.

This is my favorite. I usually cut down or leave out the ground mustard though.

I used the one right off the back of the ronzoni box but I use the "seriously sharp" cheese by Cabot. People go nuts over it every time Chat Icon
