Maclaren Volo? and q on the recall...

would you still get this stroller after the recall? or is there a better one?

I just checked the site. Our stroller came with the covers for the hinges.

I got a Maclaren Quest right before the recall - I just registered online and they sent me hinge covers.

I'd still buy one.

ETA - If you purchase one now, it should include hinge covers.

Theres a vidoe on the BRU and BBB websites that they do include the cover..thanks for the info!

That being said ..do you like it? Should I spend the extra$$$ amd get the triumph or the quest?

I'd spend more and get the Triumph or the Quest - they both have the option to recline. I think the difference with the Quest is that it has a footrest. We just got a Snap and Go otherwise.

I like mine a lot - the storage basket is hard to access though.

I have a Quest and a Volo. I bought the Volo after the recall. I would totally buy one. All the Maclarens now come with the hinge covers. Honestly the recall could happen with any umbrellla stroller. I never let DD open or close her stroller and her hands are never near the area with the recall when I close her stroller. So in short yes I would totally buy one after the recall.
