Mad Men last night - Spoilers
So what did we think?
Another episode with not much going on me thinks and what the hell was up with all those commercials!? Broke the flow of the episode terribly. Hope things start getting interesting soon...

Re: Mad Men last night - Spoilers
I agree the editing was awful last night!
I though the episode was fantastic.
The image of Don brushing his fingers on the grass, Peggy walking in with such confidence into Don's office (even Pete wouldn't do that!), Peggy trying to sing like Ann Margaret. There were just so many little visual things going on, although you are right, not too much moving forward.
Did you see when Roger's daughter is getting married? The day after JFK's assassination.

Re: Mad Men last night - Spoilers
I loved the episode. There were 3 or 4 times when I actually laughed out loud, so the tone wasn't that of a usual episode but it worked fine for me. Peggy was ballsier in this ep than we've ever seen her - loved how she imitated Don at work, Ann-Margaret in the mirror, and Joan in the bar. She's taking the pieces of the people she looks up to and figuring out what works for her.

Peggy!
Loved, loved, loved Betty's outfit and hair for the dinner with the brits.

Ohh very deep. I simply chalked her behavior up to wanting to "feel pretty".
I was getting a little sick of the Bye Bye Birdie song, that's for sure.
And the Penn station story line was a bit but I'm guessing it will lead to something.
I still think people aren't giving enough credit to this season.. the point is to start slow and get everyone on track. It still has the booze, the sexual craziness, the advertising brainstorming, Don Draper being a manwhore, etc. Ya'll need some patience
