I know I wouldn't have let anyone rip hair off my face when I was 11!!!!!!
Being from an Italian and Greek ancestry and growing up with the almighty catepillar uni brow beginning at 9 months of age, I would have begged for the waxing strips at age 4 had I known they were available to me.
still, I am sure she has more pressure to look a certain way than ANY 11 year old should.
her brows are not unruly and I don't think they take much away from her. if she was fugly, maybe it would help, but she's not...so she doesn't need it.

perhaps for a grown woman, but for a CHILD...I don't think so.
I must admit, I am almost completely against "beautifying" young girls....pageantry and the like.
beauty is not and should not be that important at that age.
I fail to see how waxing her eyebrows will do anything for her right now....it's silly. (and yes, I see that you said when she becomes "of age" so this is not specifically directed at you)

I couldn't agree more. I think it's actually absurd to suggest that an 11 y/o should wax her eyebrows.
Besides, she has her mothers eyebrows. There's nothing wrong with full eyebrows...I mean, do people think they're worse than penciled-in clown-brows?

If my daughter is given the same fate as I in the eyebrow department and she wishes to have her eyebrows waxed at eleven b/c she is upset by it...I see no problem with it. JMO.
