Mail from former owners
So we have been in our house for over a year and a half.
we still get mail from the previous owner. Not just once in a while, but EVERYDAY. i dont think he ever changed his address with anyone (he moved out of the country).
I write not at this address and send it back, but it doesnt seem to be working - is there anything else I can do?

Ask your mailman to remove mail addressed to them before he drops it in your mailbox. We have been in our house nearly FIVE years and I always know when our mailman is not on duty because the fill-in mail carrier will include the previous owner's mail. So frustrating.

ITA. my mailman introduced himself when we first moved in and said he would not put the previous owner's mail in our box.

still happening after 3 yrs.
i have called the post office numerous times, left notes in the mailbox and even hand delivered the pieces to the previous owner (still in neighborhood). sorry but i can't be bothered anymore so i just toss it all  .

It still happens to us as well. It's annoying. If it's junk I toss it, if it looks important, I give it back to the mailman. He keeps delivering it!!

Same thing keeps happening to us, and we actually get mail for the first owner and the man who flipped the house! It's so frutrating!!!! We actually tear up the mail cause we don't want our address to be used to open anything in our names or with our address without our consent.

I get mail from the previous owners all the time and they both passed away. We just rip it up and throw it out
