Make up brushes - spinoff ..sorta
Anyone know the proper way to clean makeup brushes?! I have to admit I have not done this in so long. Just hot water? Or soap too?

I haven't done mine in a while either- but I used water and a little facial soap.

I do the same.
I've seen some stuff on pinterest that recommends using dishwashing soap and/or olive oil to wash makeup brushes. Facial soap seems to get the job done for me though.

I use liquid soap wash then rinse them. Also remember to lay them flat after shaping so the water does not loosen the glue holding the bristles. I also reshape them after cleaning them.

There are special products to clean your brushes but I just use warm water and softsoap (since its antibacterial)
