Make up junkies-I need storage ideas
Currently, I have 2 nightstands that I made into a vanity table. There are 4 drawers in total. One for eyes, one for lips, one for cheeks and pencils, the last for tools and miscellaneous.
BUT, we are rearranging our bedroom to make some space for the baby bug and DH isn't keen on bringing these tables back into the bedroom.
I *know* I can cosolidate. BUT I don't want to purge THAT much!
I need some ideas for storing all of this stuff without furniture being an option.
Any ideas?

Re: Make up junkies-I need storage ideas
I have a few train cases, but I recently bought hanging makeup bags from The Container store. I don't have room for a vanity either but I have a makeup addiction and I USE my collection--nothing collects dust or goes bad.
I have to get ready in the bathroom, so I am going to hang the makeup on the back of the door. They also roll up for travel or to make more space.

Re: Make up junkies-I need storage ideas
I also have alot of STUFF. No vanity, so I got a few plastic shoe boxes (they sell them at walmart/target for a few $'s) and then put them on the shelf in my linen closet that is outside my bathroom. Not ideal, but it works. And rather than having it seperated by eyes/lips/cheeks etc, I have mine seperated by 'theme'-(not sure of a better word). Like nighttime makeup is in one, daytime is in another, etc. HTH! Good luck!

I don't like having my makeup on display in my room and I don't have room for a vanity/furniture piece, so I just keep my stuff in various boxes & bags in a closet (which is ideal conditions: dark, cool and low humidity.)
My train case holds all my color (shadows & blush):

I've always wanted to order this from QVC because all my makeup is in big zippered philosophy bag, but I don't have room for it either!

I use a train case for all my stuff and then I have a separate smaller makeup bag that I keep my daily essentials in.
