making a tart for the first time- a question about crust
I see recipes for crusts with graham cracker crumbs and butter, and some more involved crusts made from dough.
Which do you prefer? Obviously the graham cracker is easier, but do you think the dough crust is tastier?

I love the dough crust because it is so buttery. I am obsessed with the fruit tart from a Cascon bakery

nutella
For a nutella tart, I think you can definitely get away with doing graham cracker crust! You could even probably do a shortbread crust. I think anything works with nutella

im feeling a shortbread crust to offset the richness of the inside. have you ever made one before? im searching tons of recipes and havent quite decided how to make the filling yet.

For a nutella tart, I think a shortbread crust would be really yummy and compliment it well. Graham cracker is easiest but I feel wpuld compete with the nutella instead of compliment it.

Oh boy, I HAVE to make this for Thanksgiving. My SIL is Nutella obsessed.
Would you mind sending me the recipe?
ETA: This is the one I found, it sounds amazing.

Gotcha. That one does seem really complicated. lol! I have a shortbread one that I've used in the past, I'll probably use it again. Thanks again!
