making your own dog food....

some posters have mentioned that they are going to make thier own food for thier dogs because of the uncertainly with the recall..I was just wondering if anyone had any recipes.....?

I made mine this morning. I sauteed chopped meat, stewing beef (cut up into small pieces) and chicken. I boiled fresh carrots and stringbeans. I added oregano to the meat mixture while cooking and parmesan cheese afterward. Mixed it all together in a large mixing bowl and added corn, peas and rice. Topped it all off with homemade gravy. It took me about two hours. It tasted really good, too. I have three dogs so I had to make quite a bit. I'll never buy dog food again. This way I, at least, know what they are eating and not have to worry.
